"Neil's Shovelhead"

I have to say I have a soft spot for the older bikes and that's no secret. It always makes me feel good when someone comes in and says "lets make her new again". Such is what happened with Neil's shovelhead. It was an old bike, put together from many parts, and many had been at it before as is usual with old shovels. So the plan was to strip her down and start over to build a clean shovel for him.

First thing is to get her apart and then see what you need and she needed a lot.

You never know what you are into until you get to the heart of the beast and it was bad.

The old motor case had about had it and the breather hole was out so far it was unusable any longer so we decided to get a new set of S&S superstock cases and start over.
